White Label Recruitment are excited to present an opportunity for the role for an Internal Sales Manager / Sales Office Manager based in Preston within a leading global engineering business specialising in engineered components and fittings.The Role:As Internal Sales Manager, you will oversee the internal sales operations, ensuring efficient order processing, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction. You will lead and develop a dedicated team of internal sales staff while maintaining high standards of service and driving continuous improvements. Your responsibilities will include managing workflows, coaching and mentoring staff, improving customer relationships, and working closely with other departments to streamline processes and ensure seamless order fulfilment.The Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years in internal sales / customer service, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, ideally within an engineering manufacturing or related industry.
- Must have exposure to fluid power or any associated equipment (hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pumps, hoses, fittings, flanges, etc)
- Proven coaching and mentoring experience, excellent communication and leadership abilities, strong decision-making skills, and a background in conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with technical terminology and processes in the manufacturing industry is essential to effectively manage the team and understand customer needs.
