We are currently seeking enthusiastic Nursery Assistants in Preston, available Monday to Friday for ad-hoc positions starting in September. Earn a competitive rate of £13-£14 per hour while having the freedom to choose your workdays.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will help create a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners, supporting their development through fun and educational activities. If you hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, possess an NVQ or CACHE certificate, and have relevant experience, we encourage you to apply. Your Responsibilities as a Nursery Assistant will include:

  • Assisting teachers with lessons and behavior management.

  • Communicating effectively with children, staff, parents, and carers as needed.

Requirements:

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children (must provide 2 professional references).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity and patience.
  • CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or relevant nursery experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of EYFS principles.
