THE ROLE This is a full-time, hands-on role involving responsive repairs and general maintenance across Housing Association properties and HMOs.
- Carry out responsive repairs, including plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting, and decorating.
- Inspect properties to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship to maintain tenant satisfaction.
- Address boiler-related issues where applicable.
- Accurately document completed tasks and report any significant findings.
- Manage tools and materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain professionalism and clear communication with tenants and staff.
THE CANDIDATE We are looking for a multi-skilled professional with prior experience in property maintenance or a similar role.
- Proven track record in responsive repairs, ideally in a housing or HMO setting.
- Competence in plumbing, electrical work, joinery, and general repairs.
- Boiler knowledge is highly beneficial.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
- Own tools for work (essential).
THE CONTRACT
- Full Time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (37.5 hours).
- Permanent Contract.
- Salary: £25,000.00 to £35,000.00 per year, plus benefits.
