Our client, a leading UK Distribution business whom supply to a very diverse range of customers, are looking to recruit a personable, enthusiastic Business Development/Customer Executive to join their friendly office. Working incredible hours (Monday - Thursday: 8.00a, - 4.15pm / Friday: 8.00am - 1.00pm), this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate!Our client have been established for a number of years, and supply businesses across the UK - primarily distributing industrial consumable products. As they are growing, they are actively seeking the perfect candidate to join their Sales team of 3 (within a wider office of 30 FTE), dealing with both new and existing clients. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:- 60% Account Management (dealing with existing clients) / 40% New Business- Acting as the first point of contact for existing clients, ensuring satisfaction with service levels, and identifying any opportunities for growth- Reacting to warm leads through the Website/Marketing, prospecting to potential new clients- Liaising with customers over the phone, email and live chat- Ensuring all customer quotations are followed up in a timely and effective manner- Working closely with all areas & divisions of the business to support customers- Managing and promoting the company brand, representing the company in a professional and welcoming manner.In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:- Experience of liaising with customers over the phone email (in either a Sales or Customer Service capacity)- Professional, articulate telephone manner- Great IT skills (proficient in all MS Office)- Fun, sociable personality- Customer-focused mindsetIn addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:- Monthly bonuses (potential to earn an additional £2,000 a year on top of base salary!)- Amazing working hours (as detailed above - finish at 1.00pm every Friday!)- Free on-site parking- Great progression opportunitiesOur client are looking to move very quickly on this, so any interested candidate(s) are urged to apply at their earliest convenience!
