CNC Programmer/Operator

- Monday to Friday 37.5 hours

We are working with a client of ours based in Preston who specialise in precision engineering due to the consistent growth they're looking for a CNC Programmer/Operator.
The Role
- Set up, program and operate CNC machines using fanuc controls to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines or programs as they arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
About you
- Fanuc Control experience
- Doosan machine experience preferred
- Proficiency in CAD software for programming CNC machines
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools used in machining processes
- Ability to assemble and disassemble machine components as required
- Experience with tooling design and selection
- Preferred Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software for creating 3D models and drawings (not essential)
