School Site Manager - Preston

Veritas Education is currently seeking a School Site Manager on behalf of our educational client in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key leadership role in maintaining the smooth operation, security, and upkeep of a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

? Premises & Security: Lock/unlock the school, respond to alarms, and act as a key holder.? Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct regular risk assessments, monitor fire safety equipment, and oversee emergency procedures.? Maintenance & Repairs: Schedule and undertake routine maintenance, basic repairs, and general upkeep of the school site.? Cleaning & Facilities Management: Lead the cleaning team to maintain high standards of cleanliness.? Grounds & Equipment Management: Maintain outdoor spaces, operate heating/lighting systems, and inspect electrical equipment.? Logistics & Support: Provide porterage services, assist with deliveries, and oversee community event access.? Lettings & Events: Manage out-of-hours facility use and participate in school activities.

What We're Looking For:

?? Experience in a similar role is not essential but would be beneficial.?? Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to site management.?? Knowledge of health and safety regulations within an educational setting.?? Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.?? Excellent communication and organisational skills.
