Role duties:

  • Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds.
  • Manage site security, including locking and unlocking the premises, monitoring access, and conducting regular health and safety checks.
  • Liaise with external contractors and oversee maintenance work.
  • Handle minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with event setups, ensuring the school is ready for activities and special events.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies.

What qualities are we looking for:

  • Previous experience in facilities management or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
