Residential Conveyancer, Preston, up to £42k doe,

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with this reputable and leading law firm in Preston. They are looking for experienced Conveyancers due to continued expansion. The ideal candidate will be either 2 PQE or have more than 2 years' experience in running a variety of conveyancing matters. This is an opportunity to join a supportive team environment, one that allows you to focus on the core work needed to support your clients and utilise your valued skills where they are needed.

Duties will include;

  • Handle all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds.
  • Conduct title investigations, property searches, and review contracts and supporting documents.
  • Draft, negotiate, and prepare legal documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and other relevant parties to ensure effective communication throughout the transaction process.
  • Carry out exchange of contracts, completion, and post-completion formalities, including registering transactions with HM Land Registry.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements, including anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records and reports, ensuring key deadlines are met.
  • Provide high-quality legal advice and support to clients, ensuring their needs are understood and expectations are managed.
  • This role will also include an element of mentoring so the right candidate will ideally have experience in this area
