Credit Controller | £25,000 - £27,000 + Bonus | Preston + Hybrid | Great team and culture | Exceptional management teamAxon Moore are partnering a rapidly-growing business in Preston to recruit an experienced Credit Controller for a newly created, standalone role, offering complete ownership of their ledger and the chance to add value, implement new processes, and work independently within a team structure. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Proactively chasing overdue debt
  • Cash allocation
  • Ensure credit limits and payment terms correct
  • Building rapport with key customers
  • Month end queries
  • Regular review of credit limits
  • Escalations to legal
  • Resolving customer queries and payment discrepancies
  • Credit applications for new accounts
  • AR reporting
  • Ad-hoc tasks
Required Experience and Skills:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and time-keeping skills
  • High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
  • Good systems knowledge and MS Excel skills
