Job Summary:

The company is seeking a meticulous Credit Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the debts of the company and ensuring timely payments from customers.

Duties will includebut not limited to;

  • Contact clients to remind them of outstanding debts via phone or email
  • Analyse accounts payable data to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
  • Collaborate with the accounts office team to streamline debt collection processes
  • Utilise accounting software to track financial transactions and update records
  • Support wider customer service team in customer account activity accuracy.
  • Instigate collections process in line with company procedure
  • Perform accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date customer information

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in credit control or a similar role
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Proficient in analysing financial data and accounts payable processes
  • Familiarity with accounting software for efficient record keeping
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Xero accounting software
