Higher are a boutique recruitment agency specialising in the HR and Marketing professions. We are pleased to inform you of a new role that we are working on for one of our clients:

Position: Digital Marketing Executive

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

Location: Preston (flexible working)

What's the background?

Marketers thrive best in a creative environment yet so many organisations lack this and stiffle the Marketing team.

Now imagine working in a relaxed workspace with autonomy to go about your job. You're an experienced digital marketer so you know what needs to be done. You just need the space and freedom to get on with it. That's exactly what is on offer here.

Working in a small team of three with a Head of Marketing and a Graphic Designer, you will have remit for all digital marketing activities. However, you'll also be able to get involved in helping come up with creative pitches to win some big name contracts.

This is a National company with their Head Office in Preston.

Responsibilities:

You'll have full responsibility for all digital activities. Following an implementation of HubSpot (which the website will be built upon) you'll become the expert in using the platform to squeeze as much out of its funcationality to drive results and lead generation.

The role has a significant focus on content creation so you'll be someone who has a track record in creating campaigns that are successful at increasing engagement and ultimately leads.

Your background in email marketing (and customer segmentation), creating content for social media platforms and websites, with great copywriting capability ensures you have a demonstrable history of delivering brand awareness. You're also analytical and like to look at campaign performance using A/B testing to continuously improve results.

Whilst we don't need an expert in SEO or PPC, some knowledge of this would be advantageous.

Experience needed:

  • A proven track-record of creating and delivering marketing campaigns to support sales and service.
  • A qualification in Marketing, English or another business-related degree (or relevant marketing qualification i.e., CIM)
  • Excellent writing skills, as content production is a huge part of the job.
  • Be results driven and have a portfolio of demonstrable success with campaign ROI.
  • Experience of using a web CMS.
  • Previous experience of using HubSpot is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Driving licence
