Are you a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner looking for a full-time opportunity with a Housing Association in Preston? This role involves maintaining cleanliness in communal areas of properties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for tenants.

THE ROLE
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of communal areas across HMO properties managed by the Housing Association.

  • Visit and clean 5-6 properties daily, spending approximately 45-60 minutes at each location.
  • Carry out general cleaning tasks, including hoovering, wiping down kitchen surfaces, and cleaning communal bathrooms.
  • Complete a report form for each property, documenting cleaning completion and reporting any concerns.
  • Identify and report tenant issues, such as bins not being emptied or poor upkeep of shared areas.
  • Safely transport cleaning equipment and materials between properties.
  • Communicate significant maintenance issues or damages to the Housing Association team.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, ensuring properties are welcoming for residents.


THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience as a Cleaner or in a related role.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to transport cleaning equipment and materials between properties.
  • Excellent communication skills to report issues effectively.


THE CONTRACT

  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Salary: 22,308.00 per year, plus benefits
  • Benefits: Mileage allowance, paid annual leave, and a supportive working environment with training provided.
