Drama Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our thriving Performing Arts department in a high-achieving secondary school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality Drama lessons, fostering creativity and confidence in students.
• Plan and assess engaging schemes of work in line with the national curriculum.
• Support and contribute to school productions and extracurricular activities.
• Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts department to enhance students' learning experiences.
• Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified teacher (QTS/PGCE) with experience teaching Drama at secondary level.
• A passionate and creative educator who can engage and inspire students.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate teaching to meet all learners’ needs.
• A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to extracurricular drama activities and school performances.

This role is a maternity cover position running from April 2025 until at least December 2025.
