We are seeking a dedicated Nursery/Reception Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis to cover a maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and is looking for a flexible working schedule. The successful candidate will work Mondays and Tuesdays (full days) and Wednesday afternoons.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons suitable for nursery and reception-aged children.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters learning and development.
  • Assess and record children’s progress, and provide feedback to parents and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in early years education.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
