Nursery Nurse

Romano Education is recruiting on behalf of a private day nursery in Fullwood, Preston, for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing and dynamic team in a permanent position, with flexible full-time or part-time hours to suit your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and education to children in a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment.
• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
• Support children's development through observations and assessments.
• Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the needs of all children are met.
• Ensure that children’s individual needs are identified and met, promoting their social, emotional, and physical development.
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes and rest times.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for children at all times.

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
• Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Passion for supporting children’s development and learning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• DBS clearance (or willing to obtain one).

Hours and Pay:

• Working Hours: Full-time or part-time hours available, depending on your preference.
• Pay: £14.55 per hour.
• Type: Temp-to-perm role with the opportunity for the right candidate to secure a permanent role.
