Early Years Teaching Assistant:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience in Early Years to join a lovely school near to Preston. This is a full time position to start in January and run until July. The successful candidate will have previous experience in Early Years and have a relevant qualification in Early Childhood.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities for children.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
Position Details:
- Location: Preston
- Position: EYFS TA
- Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: Jan 2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education would be highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
