Your new companyHays education are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant job at a primary school in the Burscough area with a January start until Easter, working 5 mornings a week within the schools' nursery. This school has high expectations and aspirations for all children and will endeavour to nurture and develop the children in school. This school is easily accessible via public transport and main roads.Your new roleThis job will see you working within the school's nursery providing general support to the teacher as well as supporting a child with SEN. This role is crucial in helping EYFS pupils develop their learning. You may be required to work with separate groups or work on a 1:1 basis with children that may be struggling. You should be confident in working with various ability pupils and immersing yourself in daily activities. EYFS experience is a requirement for this job role.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must have recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. As the school is recruiting immediately, it would be ideal if you could jump straight into the role, however, do not let this put you off applying, as we are always receiving new roles.
