PMLD Teaching Assistant - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN at a school near Preston. This is a full time position to start in January. You will be required to support children with PMLD on a 1-1 basis and administer personal care.

Although experience working with special needs in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role to care and nurture for the individuals.

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Personal or professional experience supporting complex needs
  • Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
