Psychology Graduate TA - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a recent psychology graduate to join as a teaching assistant at a lovely school near to Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to pursue a career in education.

The Role:

  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
  • Building rapport with students, parents and staff

Position Details:

  • Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Psychology degree is essential for this position
  • Previous experience supporting children in a school setting

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
