We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant for children with Autisim to join our team in one of our preston schools. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment and contribute to the educational and personal development of students with autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with autism, both in the classroom and in 1:1 settings.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral management strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to each child's learning.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Support students during school activities, both in and outside of the classroom.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with autism or in a similar role.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • A passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Relevant qualifications in special education or teaching assistance (preferred but not essential).
  • DBS clearance (or willing to obtain).
