Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism?We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant for children with Autisim to join our team in one of our preston schools. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment and contribute to the educational and personal development of students with autism.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide tailored support to students with autism, both in the classroom and in 1:1 settings.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral management strategies.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to each child's learning.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Support students during school activities, both in and outside of the classroom.
- Previous experience working with children with autism or in a similar role.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- A passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Relevant qualifications in special education or teaching assistance (preferred but not essential).
- DBS clearance (or willing to obtain).
- A supportive team environment.
