Teaching Assistant - PMLD

Teaching Assistant PMLD - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a pupil in Year 3 at a primary school near Preston. Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential. This role will require 1-1 care for a year 3 pupil with profound and multiple learning difficulties. You must be comfortable with personal care.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:

• Have experience working with children that have SEN Needs on a 1:1 or group basis
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Take initiative
• Committed to work 5 days a week

DETAILS:

• Location: Preston
• Start date ASAP
• End date: Ongoing
• Type of work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time only
• Hours: 8am-3:15pm
• The minimum rate of pay Minimum rate GBP 90 per day.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide professional references to cover the past 2 years
• Committed to meeting our rigorous compliance requirements
