Romano Education are recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Preston. The Role:As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with students who need social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) support.
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to help students manage behaviour and engage in learning.
- Support teachers in maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to help students develop resilience and self-regulation skills.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and external professionals to support individual needs.
Romano Education is seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant who:
- Has experience in youth work, sports coaching, mental health support, or behaviour mentoring.
- Is confident in managing challenging behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
