The RoleWe are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Preston. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term stability for the right candidate. You will work closely with teachers to support students in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils who need extra help
- Support children with SEN (Special Educational Needs), helping them to access learning
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
- A passion for education and helping students succeed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
- A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude
