Your new companyThis primary school is based in North Preston. They are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible until the Summer. This school is a mainstream one-form entry Primary school with an OFSTED rating of GOOD. They have a dedicated and experienced Senior Leadership Team and the school is easily accessible with great transport links. Your new roleYour new role is to work as a Teaching Assistant on a 1:1 basis to support a female year 1 pupil. Pupil has been described as a lovely child who needs a kind and nurturing Teaching Assistant with an understanding of SEN who can be strong with the pupil when needed. This role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30 and will operate on an ongoing basis. There is the potential for this position to go permanent. What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in this position, you must have previous experience working with pupils with SEN. Ideally in KS1. You must be patient and nurturing whilst possessing a proactive approach to supporting children. It's imperative that you have strong communication skills and are able to work effectively with pupils, teachers and parents alike.
