Description
As a finance Analyst you will be responsible for:
- Analysing financial data and creating financial models for decision support.
- Improving financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions.
- Coordinating with the Accounting & Finance department on financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation.
- Guiding cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
- Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
- Maintaining a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
- Advising on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
Profile
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst, Finance Officer or similar role.
- Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics and economics.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial operations and recommend best practices.
- Excellent strategic planning skills in relation to finance.
