Reed Senior Finance are excited to be exclusively retained to appoint the new Finance Director of this globally listed business.

Our client is an industry leader with a global presence and operates out of a state-of-the-art facility within Lancashire.

The company have gone through extensive growth within the UK and have a turnover in excess of £65 million.

This number 1 in Finance will be critical in continuing that growth for the business. Reporting to the CEO you will be a natural leader and have the experience to report to a global supervisory board.

You will be data driven and have a key eye for detail.

The business employs in excess of 100 people from their Lancashire site and you will be responsible for a team of 4 within Finance currently.

This is an exciting time to join the business as it pushes forward with it’s international markets. 

Duties -

• Accountable for all IFRS, Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury and Payroll topics 

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP

• Responsible for financial and sales reporting to group

• Contact person for Group finance, tax consultants, auditors, banks and tax authorities

• Develop and maintain state-of-the-art Finance function including the implementation of effective business processes

• Responsible for the budget and forecast process

• Cost optimisation

• Supports group-wide and internal projects from Finance perspective

• Supports Board of directors with valuable financial and business insights and serves as sparring partner for the Board

• Employee management and development

Professional skills and qualification:

• Min 5 years of professional experience in a similar position and industry

• Fully Qualified

• Good understanding of interdependences of internal and external financial reporting and product costing 

• Hands-on mentality, operational strength, entrepreneurial thinking and high sense of responsibility

• IT affinity and experience (MIS, MS Office)

• Leadership experience and strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
