Finance Manager | Transport/Logistics | Lancashire/Hybrid | £45,000 - £55,000 + package (temp or perm)

Our client in the Transport/Logistics industry is looking for a Finance Manager to manage and oversee financial operations.

You will take ownership of financial obligations, while coordinating with other teams and managers for day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly management accounts
  • Annual statutory accounts & tax returns
  • Manage 3 direct reports
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist the preparation of budgets & forecasts
  • Assist with end of year audit
  • Monthly cost analysis
  • VAT returns
  • Ad hoc tasks

Required Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Must have experience working in Transport/Logistics industry
  • Strong interpersonal, Excel and analytical skills
  • Experience working with external auditors and the ability to meet deadlines
