The Finance Manager Role

As a Finance Manager, you will take a central role in the commercial finance function, leading the management accounts process and guiding the development of junior team members. This is a diverse and stimulating role, offering significant opportunities for career progression and skill enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members within management accounts, to process journals and assist the month end processes

  • Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and critical financial reports.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards by documenting processes and controls, maintaining precise accounting records.

  • Generate insightful management information to aid decision-making and strategic initiatives.

  • Work closely with other departments to promote best practices and contribute to key projects

What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Initiative: Proactive with strong problem-solving abilities and effective prioritisation skills.

  • Attention to Detail: A commitment to maintaining high standards and delivering accurate, high-quality work.
