Financial Reporting Manager | Lancashire | Up to £65k | 9-12 month contractMarks Sattin are excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for an Interim Financial Reporting Manager. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing consistent and accurate financial reporting for a leading retail business. You will lead the production of monthly management accounts, quarterly investor reports, and annual financial statements, ensuring robust financial control across the team.Responsibilities

  • Oversee internal and external financial reporting activities.
  • Analyse working capital movements and their impact on cash flow management.
  • Produce monthly Reporting packs and year-end management reporting packs.
  • Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 101 and FRS 102.
  • Conduct technical analysis on new accounting standards and acquisition accounting.
  • Ensure accuracy and relevance of financial and business data.
  • Collaborate with the finance management team on acquisition and disposal accounting.
  • Review and improve current financial practices.
  • Manage the month-end balance sheet review process.
  • Coach and develop junior finance team members.

About you

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified accountant.
  • Experience in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Experience in consolidation and external reporting.
  • Experience of preparing statutory accounts under FRS101 and FRS102
  • Effective team collaboration skills.
