Head of Finance| £85,000 - £95,000 | Lancashire (Flexible Working) | Bonus & BensAxon Moore are exclusively retained to partner with a leading high growth Venture Capitalist/Investment SME in the Lancashire area. You will be working for a growing Group who Invest in a diverse range of financial assets and businesses. As part of this continued growth and ambitious investment plans, the company have created an outstanding opportunity to join the group as Head of Finance. This will involve working very closely and reporting to the  CFO.You will be required to manage the accounting, treasury, financing and investment tracking for all company accounts across the entire portfolio group including internal head office accounts and their growing Property/Real Estate arm.Role & Responsibilities:
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Responsibility for the quarterly board packs and ensure there is continuous improvement.
  • Working closely with the CFO to produce the group forecasts (including sophisticated cashflow modelling) and oversee the implementation into the accounting system.
  • Variance analysis of the forecasts.
  • Cashflow Management: Drive the treasury strategy with complete responsibility for treasury management across the group. This includes monitoring the cashflow needs of the current and forecast investments, as well as operational cashflow
  • Investments: Work closely with the CFO/Investment Director on new investments and investment appraisals.
  • Track and monitor each investment through valuation metrics, including ROI and IRR
You will be a Fully Qualified Accountant from either an ACA/ACCA Big 4 or Top 10 background to be considered. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of holding a senior position within a group, holding multiple investments pockets and having the strategic overview across all.In return, you will join a fantastic organisation with core values, where you can really make a difference.
