Head of Finance

A Local Authority in The North West are looking to appoint a Head of Finance on an Interim basis. Spencer Clarke Group are working with the client to find the successful candidate.

What's on offer:

  • Rates: £300+ per day, inside IR35.

About the role:

To work across the Adult and Health and Children's Services Directorate with the primary purpose of leading and manage financial services, Performance development, Quality Monitoring and Business governance's.

Based in the North West (Hybrid):

Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with the Head of Commissioning in ensuring that the commissioning, finance, performance and business transformation service priorities and objectives align and are connected.
  • To manage the children's and adults commissioning budgets and process with regards to most up to date regulations and guidance for relevant work areas.
  • To ensure that strategy, planning and performance drives the commissioning budget and process.

Able to take an entrepreneurial approach, identifying and exploiting opportunities, with a broad understanding and appreciation of markets and commercial practices.

About you:You will have the following experience:

  • Must be able to attend the office 3 days per week. Lots of flexibility around when they need to be there and for appointments and life etc, however must be present and must be happy to be present.
  • Must be qualified accountant.
  • Must display and evidence significant experience Of Adult Social Care finance at a senior level.
  • Must be recent Experience working along with NHS colleagues of a Similar Level.
