Robert Half is currently supporting a fast-paced, global business in their search for a Senior Finance Manager - Projects. This pivotal role focuses on delivering key finance improvement projects, particularly within their operations in France, while continuously enhancing financial processes.

The Role:Reporting to the Financial Controller - Projects, you will take ownership of managing and delivering financial projects from inception to completion. Projects will vary in scope but will include systems implementations, process optimisation's, and team-related initiatives. As a senior leader, you'll be responsible for engaging stakeholders, managing project time-lines and budgets, and ensuring successful delivery while aligning with the business's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead medium to large-scale finance projects, managing cross-functional teams and delivering to agreed time-lines and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and develop solutions that enhance collaboration and financial operations.
  • Plan, forecast, and manage project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Analyse complex financial data to inform decision-making and support project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with company policies and codes of conduct.
  • Act as a hands-on problem solver, overcoming obstacles and driving results to achieve business objectives.

What We're Looking For:

  • ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualified, with at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering finance-related projects within large organisations.
  • Strong understanding of finance functions and processes, ideally with exposure to IFRS.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, combined with commercial acumen and organisational ability.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects effectively.
