I am currently working with an ambitious and growing insolvency boutique based in Preston that is looking to bring on board an experienced Insolvency Manager. The firm has grown significantly in recent years and is looking for an insolvency professional who can help continue driving their expansion. Youll be joining a dynamic and supportive team, where your expertise and leadership will be highly valued.


Key Responsibilities

As an Insolvency Manager, you will:

  • Oversee a varied portfolio of insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, and administrations.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff members, helping them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant insolvency legislation and best practices.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including creditors, solicitors, and directors, maintaining strong relationships throughout the insolvency process.
  • Prepare detailed reports, progress updates, and documentation for insolvency cases.
  • Attend meetings with creditors and directors, presenting clear and concise updates on case progression.
  • Play a key role in driving business development initiatives, supporting the growth and expansion of the practice.

Skills and Experience Required

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Insolvency Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of insolvency experience, including managing a portfolio of cases.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of insolvency processes and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Ambition: A proactive and results-driven attitude, with the desire to contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
  • Qualifications: CPI or JIEB qualifications (desirable but not essential).
