Teacher and Role Information:
- The ideal candidates will be able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that focus pupils on class work and engage them in school.
- You will need to have an excellent understanding of the Early Years and or Key Stage 1 curriculum and will be able to adapt this to varying ability levels in the class.
- Our schools are seeking a teacher who can understand how young pupils develop, and be able to plan provision to meet the needs of a range of learners, and work hard so every pupil reaches the best of their ability.
- Phonics is vital in all of these roles, and being able to develop pupil understanding in this area is pivital to pupil progression.
- Phonics screening experience is key for these teaching roles and Year 2 SATs preparation is desirable.
- Focus and understanding of the core subjects Maths and Literacy is paramount for each of these roles.
