3rd Line Engineer
Location: Preston, Office-based
About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled 3rd Line Engineer to join our Managed Services Provider (MSP) client. As the final escalation point for all technical issues, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service delivery while gaining exposure to regular project work (office moves, email/O365 migrations etc.). This position is ideal for a proactive and experienced individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the final point of escalation for technical issues, providing expert resolution.
- Assist with infrastructure support, including Azure, Microsoft 365, server administration, and related technologies.
- Collaborate on project work, contributing your expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
- Ensure smooth functionality and efficiency of IT systems within a managed service framework.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in infrastructure support (e.g., Azure, M365, Server Administration).
- Prior experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
- A passion for technology and continuous learning.
Paying up to 45k, depending on experience.
Office based.
Must be eligible to work in the UK.
