We are working closely with a professional and highly regarded UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy. They are now recruiting in the North West region for a qualified and hard working Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. This role would suit someone who comes from a strong consultancy background, who has extensive experience carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical services for Educational, Manufacturing, and Heavy Industry clients. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidates must be able to use their knowledge and experience to provide excellent consultancy advice and support to clients. Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold industry relevant qualifications e.g., P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent.
" Experience carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical services for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Well versed in HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
" Familiar with using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Will have excellent communication skills.
" Able to manage workload efficiently.
The Role:
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines to carry out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys.
" Carrying out 4 stage clearances.
" Undertaking leak, smoke, background, re-occupation and personal air testing in line with HSG 248 guidelines.
" Attending site to carry out audits.
" Undertaking sampling of suspected ACMs.
" Bagging and correctly labelling samples before sending for analysis.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed comprehensive reports.
" Providing excellent consultancy support and advice to clients when required.
