Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager be engaged on a permanent basis within the Nuclear Sector (remote working will be available).
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Line management of a team of bid managers and writers.
o Implementation of best practice in bid development and winning competitive tenders.
o Oversight and management of the bid pipeline to ensure that they are suitably supported and resourced.
o Accountable for ensuring bids are delivered on time and to the high standard expected.
o Bid management where required.
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes/Skills:
Qualifications and Experience: Essential:
o Extensive experience in winning competitive tenders from public and private sector organisations.
o Strong background and experience in a management and leadership role. Desirable but not essential:
o Nuclear Industry experience.
o Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science/equivalent experience.
o Qualifications with a recognised commercial professional body or recognised project management professional body.

o Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
o Attention to detail, accuracy, sound judgement and an ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
