About the Client:

The client provides Architectural Services across various sectors including education, commercial, retail, leisure, residential, and healthcare.
As a Chartered Architect - Departmental Lead, you'll oversee the design, management, and delivery of various building projects. Your role involves leading teams, and ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and specifying building projects, complying with regulations.
- Managing projects through planning, regulations, and consent processes.
- Leading multidisciplinary Design Teams and coordinating external Consultants.
- Facilitating communication within the team and with external parties.
- Providing technical guidance and support.
- Generating fees for the Architect Department.
- Supervising a team of Architectural Technicians.
Requirements:
- ARB registered Architect with relevant experience.
- Membership in professional bodies like ARB and RIBA.
- Demonstrated experience in Architectural design and delivery.
- Versatility across operational areas and client types.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar.
- Experience across all 6 RIBA work-stages.
