What you will do:
- Assess needs, plan, and deliver comprehensive care from the initial assessment to service discharge.
- Develop and evaluate care plans collaboratively alongside service users, carers, and professionals to ensure individualised care.
- Empower and support mental health service users on their recovery journey.
- Engage with mental health service users within community settings.
- Act as an advocate for individuals utilising the services.
- Supervise nonqualified staff, nurturing their growth and capability.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Mental Health Act.
- Work collaboratively with external partners including community-based services, social services, and other healthcare agencies.
- Offer therapeutic interventions as necessary.
- Provide guidance and signposting to other services where applicable.
