As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in managing the firm's receivables and ensuring that clients adhere to agreed payment terms.

Description
As Credit Controller you will be responsible for:

Monitoring and managing client accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices and adherence to credit Terms.

Proactively contact clients to follow up on overdue payments, resolving any issues that may delay payment.

Prepare and present regular reports on debtor balances, overdue accounts, and cash flow projections to the finance team and senior management.

Work closely with legal teams to address any client disputes that may affect payment, ensuring a smooth resolution process.

Reconcile client accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Identify and implement improvements to the credit control process to enhance efficiency and reduce debtor days.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:

Strong understanding of credit control processes, legal billing procedures, and relevant regulations.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Meticulous attention to detail, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

A proactive and positive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
