As a Credit Hire Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting our team by managing a varied caseload of credit hire claims, working directly with clients, and liaising with insurers and third-party providers. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management of a caseload of credit hire claims, including assessing and reviewing evidence, preparing documents, and conducting legal research.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, and third parties to gather necessary information and ensure cases progress smoothly.
• Prepare legal documents such as statements of claim, letters of instruction, and court forms.
• Work alongside senior fee earners to prepare cases for trial, including drafting witness statements and exhibits.
• Provide support in negotiating settlements and assisting with legal strategies for resolution.
• Maintain accurate case files and adhere to deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements.

Requirements:

• Ideally 1 years experience, working as a paralegal, ideally with a focus on credit hire, personal injury, or litigation.
• Strong understanding of the credit hire process and relevant legal principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with clients and third parties.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A keen interest in pursuing a career in credit hire law and further professional development.
