Business Design Integration Lead

Based in Preston (Remote working available)

In this pivotal process role, as a Business Design Integration Lead, you will gain a deep understanding of cross-functional business processes and toolsets, working closely with our Architecture Office and multiple senior stakeholders to seamlessly integrate these processes across our organisation. Your mission will be to deliver impactful projects and innovative solutions using top-tier commercial products, including the INFOR LN ERP system.

What you'll be doing:

  • Consolidates expertise from multiple sources, including third party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives. Supports and promotes the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation
  • Produces models in support of business strategy. Has in- depth knowledge of a broad range of industry- wide modelling techniques
  • Responsible for planning and co-ordinating team modelling activities and for ensuring the quality of their work
  • Manages the full Project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of Customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved
  • Defines, documents and carries out small projects or sub-projects (typically less than six months, with limited budget, limited interdependency with other projects, and no significant strategic impact), alone or with a small team, actively participating in all phases
  • Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project
  • Applies appropriate project management methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive approaches
  • Agrees project with stakeholders, and prepares realistic plans (including quality, risk and Communication plans and tracks activities
  • Monitors timescales and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensures that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are recorded

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • To be able to work across multiple functions
  • Ability to understand and generate processes to reflect ways of working
  • Senior Stakeholder management experience

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of ERP Systems
  • Knowledge of INFOR LN is advantageous
