The role involves supporting clinicians with biopsies and excisions, ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical safety. You will be responsible for assisting with minor surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing comprehensive pre- and post-procedure patient support. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (NMC) with experience in dermatology or minor surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:* Assist with biopsies and excisions, ensuring safety, precision, and patient comfort.* Maintain infection control standards and prepare equipment for procedures.* Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures, including aftercare guidance.* Accurately document patient notes and procedural outcomes.
Requirements:* Registered Nurse (NMC) qualification - UK ONLY * Experience supporting dermatology procedures, particularly biopsies and excisions.* Knowledge of infection control, clinical governance, and patient confidentiality.
