An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Human Resources professional to join an inclusive and value driven public sector organisation with an outstanding organisational culture. We offer free car parking, a generous pension and generous annual leave.

In this broad HR role, you will have an awareness of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and Learning & Development and have the ability to lead and deliver in relation to these areas of activity. You will have a deep understanding of the public sector equality duty and a commitment to driving meaningful change. You will be responsible for leading the HR team to deliver exceptional HR services across a range of activities including EDI, change management, talent management, and workforce planning. Your focus will be on achieving timely and impactful results while fostering a positive organisational culture.

Closing date for applications is 12 noon on Friday 4 October 2024 however we reserve the right to close the advert prior to this if sufficient quality applications have been received.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a first stage interview on 14 or 15 October 2024. Candidates who are successful through the first stage interview will be invited to a final stage interview with the Director of People and Development and the Chief Fire Officer, which is anticipated to take place on Monday 28 October 2024.
