Description

As the Head of Procurement you will:

  • Assess the current team capability, and support develop, and build a structure that will deliver high performance
  • Build a strong internal network to ensure early engagement on projects, and Procurement is aligned to goals
  • Build an agile supply chain, that has the capability to ramp up as required
  • Work closely with operations and supply chain to ensure the order book is delivered
  • Invest time in supplier relationships, to counter the lack of capacity in global markets

Profile

The ideal candidate will be,

  • Proven operating at a leadership level (Head of Procurement) in a complex, manufacturing environment
  • Able to demonstrate how they have supported an operation to ramp up from zero to mass production
  • Have a track record in metals procurement, including subcontract processes (castings, forging, machining, surface finishes)
  • Comfortable operating at pace
  • Strong awareness of the E2E supply chain, and used to managing risk accordingly
