I am currently recruiting for a multi-skilled engineer to join our maintenance team, working across two large manufacturing sites in Lancashire. We are looking for an energetic, dynamic multi-skilled M&E engineer with a solid understanding of a variety of equipment and buildings. A proactive attitude towards colleagues, customers, and work in general is essential.
The main duties of the role will involve both proactive and reactive work on single and three-phase circuits, single and three-phase power systems, HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, inverters, building management systems, and lighting circuits. A wide range of knowledge of M&E equipment typically found in a manufacturing environment is required.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills to fit into the team environment and will be expected to use their skill set to solve problems in other areas of the business as needed. There will also be a requirement to be on-call as needed.
To be considered for the role, candidates must hold a fully recognised trade qualification in either electrical (18th edition, NVQ2&3 minimum), mechanical (NVQ2&3 minimum), or HVAC (NVQ2&3 minimum).
A full UK driving license and the ability to gain SC Clearance in accordance with the client's requirements are also essential.
