Sonic Summary

The position of Multi-skilled Fitter is available in Preston with a salary range of £38,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.
The role requires candidates to have previous industrial experience and be either time-served or apprentice trained in engineering, with a focus on electrical or mechanical skills.
Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 5 pm, with consistent overtime available on Fridays and weekends paid at x1.5.
The company offers 22 holiday days plus 8 bank holidays, along with fully funded training courses and a supportive work culture.
Candidates should be problem solvers who are willing to engage in hands-on work, including machine assembly, electrical wiring, and maintenance.

Holiday Days- 22 holiday day + 8 bank holidays (Christmas Shutdown)
OT always available on Fridays and the weekend paid at x1.5

ATA are working with a multi-site manufacturing business who specialise in their field of work supplying to some huge international clients. Due to their constant growth they're looking for a Fitter to join their ranks.

The Role of a Multi-Skilled Fitter
Each day can be different and always working on something new this can consist of…
- Electrical and Mechanical Machine assembly
- Following schematics (Mechanical/Electrical) to assemble machinery
- Electrical wiring of circuits and relays and PLCs
- If you can Weld there will be welding of parts and frames in the workshop
- Fault finding on machinery
- Maintenance of machinery

Requirements of the Multi-skilled Technician
- Time served or apprentice trained engineer/technician or fitter.
- Electrically or mechanically biased
- Previous experience industrially
- Someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
- Great problem solver.
