Salary: Up to £37,000

We are currently recruiting for a multi-skilled engineer to join our maintenance team working across 2 large manufacturing sites in Lancashire. We are looking for an energetic, dynamic multi-skilled M&E engineer with a fundamental understanding of a variety of equipment and buildings. A proactive attitude towards colleagues, customers and work in general is required at all times.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Your main duties will include proactive and reactive work on single and three phase circuits, single and three phase power systems/HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, inverters, building management systems and lighting circuits and have a wide range of knowledge for M&E equipment that can be found in a manufacturing environment.
  • You would also be required to have excellent communication skills to fit in the environment and be able to use your skill set to solve problems in other areas of the business as required. You will be required to work on on-call as required

Applicants for the role must possess the following:

  • To be a suitable candidate you would need to hold a fully recognised trade qualification in either electrical (18th edition, NVQ2&3 minimum), mechanical (NVQ2&3 minimum) or HVAC (NVQ2&3 minimum).
  • You will also need a full UK driving license and the ability to gain SC Clearance in accordance to the client's requirements.
