We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist and Pain Consultant to join our clients, specialising in the therapeutic use of medical cannabis. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of an emerging field in patient care, offering flexible working arrangements either remotely or in person.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide treatment plans for patients using medical cannabis.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of patients with chronic pain and mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Offer guidance on medical cannabis treatment, dosage, and patient monitoring.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements and research in the field of medical cannabis.

Requirements:

  • GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrist or Pain Consultant with relevant experience.
  • Experience in managing chronic pain and/or mental health conditions.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn about the therapeutic use of medical cannabis.
  • Registered with the UK Medical Cannabis Registry Board.
  • Ability to work independently, with a patient-centred approach.
