Our Client, an international engineering company due to an extended period of growth are looking to recruit an organised, professional, and efficient Quality & Health and Safety Coordinator to be the first point of contact regarding health and safety, and any relevant training-related inquiries.

Working alongside and reporting to the HSSEQ Manager duties to include:

路 Assist in creating and implementing safety plans while ensuring that they are being followed daily.

路 Ensuring that data with regards to HSSEQ performance is effectively captured and analysed to enable improvement plans to be developed and implemented.

路 Assisting the business with the implementation of the ISO standards and systems

路 Conduct safety observation reports on a regular basis, depending on the length of the project.

路 Attend safety walks and inspections before or during each project to analyse safety risks.

路 Educate employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe machinery operation.

路 Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.

路 Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident.

路 Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events

路 Act as a liaison between management and external safety agencies, such as fire and insurance personnel.

路 Coordinate audit schedule, the review of internal business processes, RAMS

路 Coordinate and Implement CoSHH assessments.

路 Assisting with the HSE, the Environment Agency, insurers, and other bodies in the event of a major incident or as required.

As a successful candidate you will have experience working within Health and Safety/Quality Control compliance with an up-to-date knowledge of UK SHE legislation and any specialist knowledge in a relevant subject area, e.g., asbestos, scaffolding, fire, or gas safety would be desirable. A team player who is resourceful, meticulous, and able to multitask with a strong knowledge of Microsoft products and an ability to adapt to essential technology.
